Chelsea Prescott

Persimmon Tree Chinese Medicine is run by Chelsea Prescott, a highly experienced practitioner of Chinese Medicine offering Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and specialised paediatric treatment. She offers treatment for a wide range of disorders, from simply promoting general health to helping patients with complex health presentations. Chelsea has a special interest in the areas of infertility, pregnancy, paediatrics and women’s health.

Chelsea Prescott holds two Bachelor of Health Science degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Victoria University. After graduating from University in 1999 Chelsea completed a clinical internship program at Liaoning Hospital, China, where she studied in the areas of gynaecology, dermatology, gastroenterology and internal medicine. Since then Chelsea has been in private practice for 16 years, and continues to study in the field. She is registered as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association.

Chelsea has worked extensively in Adelaide, South Australia, Melbourne, the Adelaide Hills, Stirling, Crafers and Blackwood. She is currently a lecturer at Endeavour College of Natural Therapies, teaching gynaecology and obstetrics in the Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture).

Athira Lukaszewicz

Athira Lukaszewicz is a registered practitioner of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine from Endeavour College of Natural Medicine. She has a special interest in women’s health, autoimmune integrity, musculoskeletal conditions, Autism and ADD/ADHD, trauma and psycho-emotional conditions.

Athira has a background in Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda and Psychology studies. She is passionate about patient-centred Remedial Dietary Therapy, based on East-Asian dietetic theory, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Along with acupuncture, Athira uses a variety of techniques such as Tui Na (Chinese medical massage) and Chi Nei Tsang (working the energy of the vital organs).
